What can I install on my virtual server?

As long as you do not violate the restrictions and terms or conditions of you license agreement and contract with Altwood IT Services, you are free to install anything you want onto your Virtual server.

Can I install SSL?

Of course! Contact our sales team to arrange a certificate installation .

Are there any restrictions on the content I can keep on my Virtual server?

As long as you do not violate the restrictions and terms or conditions of your license agreement and contract with Altwood IT Services, you are free to upload any type of content your Altwood IT Services Virtual Private Server.

How do I control my Virtual Private Server?

Your Virtual Private Server can be controlled one of three ways:

a) Directly using your Root access,

b) via the Virtuozzo Power Panel, or

c) the Plesk Web Hosting Control Panel.

What version of Plesk is running on my virtual server?

The latest version of Plesk, currently 9.0 is included with every Virtual Private Server.

What's the minimum contract?

If you pay monthly, there is a 90 day notice period applies. If you pay annually there is no notice period and we will give you 2months FREE hosting.

What support do I get with my Virtual Private Server?

Examples of supported technical problems:

• Your server becomes unreachable due to a network failure within our facility.

• Your server becomes unreachable due to a hardware failure within our facility.

• The hosting service setup process failed to complete successfully.

• A root user password change request failed to resolve successfully.

Unavailable Support

We will not undertake any tasks that involve creating graphics, images, or text content.

Certain types of technical support are not included with your account and will incur a fee under our Support Plus service. Fee-based technical support services would include:

• Performing custom programming.

• Installing or fixing scripts you've written.

• Installing or fixing third-party software.

• Software setup or configuration.

• System administration. Specific examples:
